Dear Partner,
III John 2
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Mark 16:15-18
“15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues; 18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
In August, I did not become a federal court juror. The two page letter that I wrote for exemption was approved.
The automated system that I was instructed to contact stated that I still had to report at 8 o’clock August 4th. It
also stated that if I did not appear, I would be held in contempt of court. A young man from a senator’s office
called to inform me that I was excused. He stated that the automated system was not updated and that my letter had
been accepted.
I experienced one of the most gratifying moments in my ministry in September. Pastors Graham and Lori Cathers,
Living Faith Christian Center, Northridge, CA, had a leaders meeting on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, Pastor
Graham asked the people to raise their hands if they had prayed for someone in the church and they had been healed.
Approximately 60% of the people raised their hands. Then he asked how many had prayed with positive results outside
the church. To my amazement, approximately 75% of the people raised their hands. I saw a church and people zealous
and hungry for God. Every place I go, I am there only by the grace of God. Each and every place I consider as
family.
The following week, I was in Bartlesville, OK, Pastor Tim Kutz, Victory Church. That weekend, hurricane Ike made
landfall. It was forecast to come across Tulsa. However, when it came to southeaster Oklahoma, it made a sharp
right turn into Arkansas. Nevertheless, the rains from the hurricane were torrential in Bartlesville on Friday and
Saturday nights. If I weren’t the speaker, I am not sure I would have come out. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
the people really came out. I was amazed at the number of people that came out. The church was full. The presence
and power of God was there for healing, salvation, infilling of the Holy Ghost and restoration to fellowship.
There was a man who had a tumor on his chest for six years. He came to the front of the church for healing.
When he got to the front, he searched for it, but could not find it. The Lord had healed him without anyone laying
hands on him. That sounds like Jesus to me. There were others that were healed by faith with the laying on of
hands.
The last weekend of September, I observed the fall foliage as I flew into central Wisconsin. The bright reds,
oranges, yellows and various greens were beautiful. The drive to Phillips, WI, was breathtaking. The pastor drove
me to the area where the church was. As we made a right turn onto the street, I looked to the left for the small
church building. I was shocked and a bit perplexed. What I saw was the shell of a large church building with a
drive-through in the front. The morning I left, there were men arriving to help roof the building. There was a
level of excitement that I had never seen there. From the first day to the last, it was wonderful to observe the
people getting involved.
We had great meetings. On Saturday night, there was a lady who had been in the hospital for a month in April.
She had listened to the scriptural healing CD (all the healings in the book of Mark) night and day. During the
praise and worship, the Lord spoke a word to me about her. I had never seen her before nor did I know anything
about her in the natural. When the word was spoken to her, it stated that she would not be the same after tonight.
She came forward weeping and stated that she could breathe deeply. This was the first time she could breathe deeply
since being released from the hospital. Praise the name of Jesus!
The Lord is preparing His Church for these times that we are now living in.
I love you,
George Moss
