Dear Partner,
It is a good thing
to remember Mother's Day, Memorial Day and other great days that
we celebrate. However, it is greater to remember the Lord and
His Word in all that you do. This does not mean that this is
done in lieu of the days of celebration, but at the same time.
Colossians 3:23-24
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and
not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive
the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ."
The more time you
spend with the Lord, the easier it will be to connect on hard
and simple tasks. It will be easier to remember Him and hear
His Voice. The daily contact with the Lord helps to maintain
a spirit of expectancy.
Psalms 119:105
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
Proverbs 6:22-23
"When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest,
it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk
with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is
light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life"
Isaiah 30:21
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying,
This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right
hand, and when ye turn to the left."
II Timothy 3:16-17
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be
perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
The more we
interface with the Lord and His Word, the greater our expectancy of His blessings.
In
His Service,
George
