March 2005
Dear Partner,
I had a good friend who sent me a card for Christmas and Valentine's Day in February.
Nevertheless, I was pleased to hear from him. He made me aware of all that had happened
to him and his family throughout the year.
Relationships require some effort. John 15:7-8 "7If ye abide in me,
and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be
my disciples." As Jesus states this, he is primarily dealing with relationships.
"If ye abide (remain) in me" alludes to us having the same relationship to
him as he had with his Father. John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall
abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
Remaining in relationship with Jesus and remaining in the Word gives you power to
refrain from earthly temptations. It also gives you the power to walk and talk even
as he walked and talked. Application in the daily life provides power to live a life
separated unto God.
John 8:31-32 "31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed
on him, If ye continue (abide) in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Truth can be confrontational. Whenever you hear the truth, it requires some adjustment.
If it puts a dent in our tradition, or we don't fully understand, we will fight against
it. If our relationship is strong with Jesus, the Holy Spirit will show us how to make
the proper adjustments.
February was full of trying and great things. My brother Lewis, who was nearly 80
years old, went to be with the Lord February 22. Funeral services were held February
28 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a believer who had prepared himself to go home. John,
my 84 year old brother, had a stroke in his house. He was in intensive care for a
short period of time. Now, he is in a rehabilitation center recovering very well.
These two brothers were very close.
As the anointing has been turned up on my life and ministry, I am seeing an increase
throughout the body of Christ. There was a noticeable increase in anointing in the
Philippines. The same was observed in Spokane, Washington and Canton, Ohio. It was
like a book of Acts experience in the Philippines.
Joe Kack, the Filipino missionary, and I were out walking when we met a young lady
who had graduated from the Domato Bible School. I had asked him about her a couple
of hours before we met her. He had not seen her but once in the past two years.
This lady provided water for me when I had come before. Meeting her was a divine
appointment; I don't believe in coincidences. Afterwards, she called the missionary
and asked if I would go to her boss' home for dinner and ministry. We went to the
home. There were catered hors d'oeuvres in the dining room, a large buffet set up
in the back yard and the living room was organized for church. The lady's boss was
only 32 years old. He had called all of his relatives and near friends to come. The
Attorney General of the Philippines (also 32 years old) with his brother, military
officers, police and other business partners were all there. They received prayer.
The worship leader and his pastor were blessed also. The young man was interested
in what God had for him. He had read books and listened to all of John Maxwell's
tapes. It was easy for him to be filled with the Holy Ghost. It reminded me of what
had happened in Acts 10 at Cornelius' house with Peter when the Holy Ghost fell.
I can attribute the increase in anointing and support directly to the faithfulness
of my partners. Therefore, I believe that you will be partakers of the blessing even
as I am.
I Corinthians 9:23 "And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might
be partaker thereof with you."
I love you,
George Moss
