Dear Partner,
Galatians 5:14-16
“14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. 15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
John 16:13
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
John 14:16-17
“16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with
you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
John 15:12-14
“12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13Greater
love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if
ye do whatsoever I command you.”
This is our day and our time with God. We are friends of God because we choose to love one another.
Jesus commanded us to love one another after he had lived among the disciples for a while. He recognized
that there was a need. The need is the same today.
We are learning to walk away from our natural carnal nature. It trained us to be selfish, proud, traditional
and religious. That is a stench in the nostrils of God. So then, let us walk in the Spirit and we will not
fulfill the lusts of the flesh (carnal life). As we walk in love, we walk in the Spirit.
Love requires us to act. It requires us to give of our time, strength and finances. Look around you. Start
with your immediate family. There are people all around us that can be inspired by a loving smile or a gentle
word.
Our neighbors (people that are not a part of the body of Christ) need love too. In the context of the
scripture, it says that we love them as we love ourselves. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help us with our
natural and spiritual lives. When we don’t have the ability or wherewithal to do a thing we ask our helper
(the Holy Spirit). He knows his job. When we ask Him, His help is made available to us.
This month, I am in India (as you receive this letter). I will be teaching and ministering the Word of God to
hundreds of pastors along with two of my Bible school classmates. They are both pastors (one in Minnesota and
the other Bismark, North Dakota). Because I love the Lord and intend to stay his friend, I willingly choose to
obey his commands.
Pittsburgh; Everett, WA and Spokane were great in every way this year. Although it was my first time in Everett,
I was received by the pastor, staff and the people of the church with open arms. It is like going home when I go
to Pittsburgh and Spokane. Now that I have said that, every place is a divine appointment. I am always excited
to see people that I know and am ready to meet new people.
Have a Happy Easter.
I love you,
George Moss
