Dear Partner,
Worship
Worship is not a song.
To sing does not make worship wrong.
Singing is a by-product of your heart condition.
When the heart knows and believes God, there will be no partition.
As the praises go to Him;
Cooperation begins as a tree to its limb. (I John 4:16)
Hebrews 10:16-17
"16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord,
I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17And their
sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”
Joshua 24:15
“…choose you this day whom ye will serve;”
Over thirty-five years ago, my life was impacted with the phrase “Praise the Lord!” I made a decision that
it would be a part of my daily life forever. It is incorporated in my daily conversation, when I answer the
telephone and while teaching and preaching. The Lord inhabits the praises of his people. Anytime praises go
forth, the Lord’s presence comes. Individually, when daily devotions are done, relationships between man and
God are strengthened. During praise and worship, man’s heart becomes sensitive to the presence of God. This
should be taken into daily life.
Although I have chosen Jesus as head of everything (my life [Saviour & Lord], family, ministry, health and
financial consultant, healer); He must be acknowledged moment by moment.
Yesterday, I took my red Swiss travel bag (Bible inside) along to get the oil changed in my car. While I
was sitting in the lounge of the dealership, a jehovah’s witness engaged me in conversation. He quickly let
me know that he goes from door to door preaching and teaching. I listened to him, because I had seen him walk
through the lounge with his daughter. He is a mechanic at the dealership. His first and only scripture was
Psalm 83:17-18. I’m sure he had more, but time did not permit. One of the sales managers came in twice and
asked if Jesus was God in the flesh. Each time I answered, yes. The young man could not understand the
Godhead (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit). For clarification, I recognized him as a
father, a mechanic and a preacher/teacher. The conversation never reached negative tones or strife. There
was mutual respect throughout. The presence of God came while we were talking. I know that He (the Spirit
of Truth) is the one who convicts of sin and convinces us of the truth. I was free to talk with the young
man because we were in a neutral place.
I have never and never will allow cults or occults into my home to discuss or teach about their religion.
It is necessary that we continue to learn more about who and what we are about. Our home is our sanctuary
and secret place. It is to be kept pure. Therefore, it is easier to be at peace in our innermost being.
Through this we can sense God’s leading and direction.
Psalms 91:1-2 [AMP]
“1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed
under the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no foe can withstand]. 2I will say of the
Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I (confidently) trust!”
I love you,
George Moss
