Dear Partner,

John 8:31-32 “³¹Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; ³²And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

It is important that we continue in the word that Jesus has said to us (or revealed to us). Matthew 14:22-32 When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water, they were afraid. But Peter said, “²⁸ … Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. ²⁹And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Peter walked on the water until he saw the strong wind. He was distracted by the wind. The wind became his focus and fear came as a result.

In life, there are all kinds of distractions. However, our fellowship with the Lord can stabilize any distraction that may come. In March 2008, the Lord reinforced my commitment to the love walk. It did not mean that distractions would not come. For me, it meant that He (the living Word) would be available for every situation.

When the Lord speaks, all men’s hearts are exposed. It reveals what truly is in our hearts.

From the 8th of November until the 15th of December, I witnessed hunger and zeal for God. It is not possible to cover the near revival conditions in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. However, I can say that it was a powerful time in teaching. The Holy Spirit was able to have His way in all the places. Healings, salvations and infillings of the Holy Ghost were a part of each meeting. The Bible schools were filled with anticipation and eagerness to learn.

The year 2009 comes with numerous challenges. However, they do not need to be distractions for us. I will be praying the prayer for you in Ephesians 1:17-23. I ask that you do the same for me.

Ephesians 1:17-23 “¹⁷That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: ¹⁸The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, ²⁰Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: ²²And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, ²³Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

Oh that I may have a tender moment with you;
