Dear Partner,
Romans 12:1-2
"1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
As the year has begun, it is important for us as Christians to continue to change. We
are to be changing into the image of Jesus. The way our minds (thinking) goes, so does
our bodies. The mind of every human being has two parts and those parts operate
differently. There is a robot side and a judge side. The robot mind operates like a
robot. This is where we have our beliefs and attitudes. It regulates much of our
behavior. Our subconscious responses and programs are there.
In the "robot mind", there is a lot of wrong thinking. We are not aware of this
part of our mind. However it is there functioning all of the time. As we become
aware of some wrong concept, we renew it with the word of God (I Peter 1:3). The
knowledge of God is revealed knowledge from God. It is also called revelation
knowledge. This knowledge can renovate or renew. It can move over to the robot
mind from the judge mind. Therefore behavior will change (Ephesians 4:17-24).
The judge mind is the rational, reasoning, conscious, thinking part. The word
of God must be given first place. It must be meditated (Psalms 1:1-3). The meditation
will bring forth revelation. It has to be walked out daily (II Corinthians 10:3-5).
Six Ways to Develop Your Blueprint for Life
- Search your heart for your true desire (Psalms 37:4).
- Know that your desire is God's will (I John 5:15, James 3:14-17).
- Get agreement and input from others (Matthew 18:19, Proverbs 11:24).
- Write down your vision plainly and simply (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
- Speak it out loud (Mark 11:23, II Corinthians 4:23).
- Patiently endure until the vision comes to pass (James 1:2-5).
Let Me Speak
Be anxious for nothing, let me speak it into your life.
Talk to me about all the pressing matters before they become a point of strife.
I am always present to help you know my will.
All it takes is for you to learn how to be still.
It seems so simple that many will not find the way;
But, I am ever leading, this could be your day.
This poem was written November 2, 1991. I trust that it will be a blessing to you.
I love you,
George Moss
