2004
Dear Partner,
Last year
(2003) was one of the greatest years we've ever had
spiritually and financially. It was due partly to your
faithful praying and giving during Laura's health challenges.
I know that
some may know, but for those who do not know, I must
inform you that Laura, my beloved wife for 35 years,
went on ahead into glory January 12, 2004 at 7PM. We
had two great memorial services: one in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
January 15, 2004 at Victory Christian Center with Pastors
Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty and in Columbus, Georgia,
January 16, 2004 at St. Mary's Road United Methodist
Church with Pastor Stephen Jones.
My sons (Michael,
Andrew and Joel) and I are so grateful for the support
that was given. At this writing, the praying, caring,
cards, flowers, love and support are still evident.
Thank you for crossing the miles to be a comfort to
us. Your presence added to the anointing of the services.
Your words brought joy to my heart. Some words before,
some during and others after the service were like a
cool drink of water on a hot summer day.
Proverbs
11:25 says, "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and
he that watereth shall be watered also himself."
Ephesians
6:8 says, "Knowing that whatsoever good thing any
man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,
whether he be bond or free."
II Corinthians
9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound
toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency
in all things, may abound to every good work:"
Your giving
has helped us spread the gospel to the nations and at
home. I am trusting that it will come back to you good
measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
In the same measure you have given, men will give it
back multiplied so that you may give again.
In
His Love,
George
