Dear Partner,
Happy 2003. The year 2002 was an exciting year spiritually and naturally. Your
faithful prayers and financial support was great. It cannot be embraced with words
to express my deepest gratitude. However, I will say "THANK YOU" from the heart.
There were places I was able to go because of your faithful and consistent giving.
I was in Canada several times, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Austria and
Germany.
Canada is always exciting. I've made life-long friends who are hungry for God.
The Philippines and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia are the only places that I have committed
to go this year. I am considering Ghana, West Africa in the Spring. In the Philippines,
the students are doing great after graduation. The majority of this year's class is
comprised of full-time pastors. There is always a special anointing when ministering
to pastors.
In Zimbabwe, pastors got my attention upon arrival. Of course, I had plans to
talk to the President, Robert Mogabe (he has been killing people on a regular basis).
The pastors talked with me privately suggesting that I not talk with the president.
Two weeks prior to my coming, two Moslem leaders came and talked with the president.
They were Muammar Qaddafi, President of Libya, and Louis Farrakhan, a U.S. Moslem
leader. Their goal was to turn Zimbabwe into a Moslem nation. The pastors felt
that there could be a problem for them when I left. The prospective, or future,
president was a member of the mother church. They did not want any attention brought
to them. I respected their request by not talking with the president. The people
do not have bread in the country. However, the people in the mother church are
prospering at this time. They know the Word and God. Jesus is Lord over Zimbabwe.
Continue to agree with me that this country remains free to the Gospel, as Jesus
is Lord.
In November, there were 21 days spent in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The
weather was rainy and damp in each country. Laura and I lived in Germany for three
years and never experienced a time like this weatherwise. We did not see any snow
except on the mountains. I did not complain. It made travelling from place to
place ideal.
Pastor Peter Hasler of Zurich, Switzerland coordinated all of the meetings in
Switzerland and one in Germany. Pastor Rainer Nusslein, Salzburg, Austria, in conjunction
with Pastor Gert Hoinle, Schweinfurt, Germany, put the latter port of my trip together.
We had great results.
There is a revival that has broken out in Rohrbach, Germany. The Catholics in
Bavaria did not permit the Protestant Reformation to have and effect on them. A
word of faith pastor started a church in Bavaria two years ago. Last April, he
started healing meetings. There were numerous Catholics being healed, saved and
filled with the Holy Ghost. The priests became concerned. They called a village
meeting. Normally, fifteen to twenty-five people attend. Five hundred people showed
up with plenty of questions. The priests decided to assign a person to determine
if this new church were a cult.
When I arrived to minister in the Bible school, the man had made his decision
about the church. It stated that "These people believe in the Bible. They are
doing what's in the Bible. The Bible is working for them. They are just like us
Catholics." This last statement opened the doors for the priest to release the
people to attend the meetings. Catholics are now being healed, saved and filled
with the Holy Ghost by the hundreds now.
Throughout Europe all other religious groups are called cults except Catholics
and Lutherans. This reformation is sweeping through Bavaria. Two other churches
have been planted. The hand of God is on this move so strongly that all of Europe
will be affected.
May the Lord bless you, protect you, smile upon you, be gracious unto you, show
you favor and give you peace. Numbers 6:22-27 says:
22And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 23Speak unto
Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel,
saying unto them, 24The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25The
LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26The LORD
lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27And they shall
put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
As the Lord's instructions were given to the priests to call down His blessing
upon the people of Israel; and He would personally bless them, I speak this today
over our partners.
