Dear Partner,
Romans 8:1-5
“1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free
from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh,
God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That
the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit
the things of the Spirit.”
Galatians 5:13-16
“13For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the
flesh, but by love serve one another. 14For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou
shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be
not consumed one of another. 16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust
of the flesh.”
There is therefore now no condemning sentence to them which are in Christ Jesus. It is important for all
believers to know that everything that was contrary to us, or was against us, was taken out of the way by Jesus.
He has forgiven us all of our trespasses and nailed them to his cross (Colossians 2:13-15). When we received Jesus
as savior, we entered into another dimension, a spiritual realm. Although our outward appearance did not change,
we became one with Him. He came to live inside us, to help with everything in life. In order for us to meet the
demand of the day, we must know who we are in Christ Jesus. There is no need to walk around with our heads down.
All of us at one time lived in sin, religion or tradition.
Now is the time to decide to walk in the Spirit. It is a decision to walk after the Spirit and not after the
flesh.
There are some natural things that we do to put the old man and his deeds behind us (Colossians 3:5-14). Love,
the Word and faith equals walking in the Spirit. Loving God with all your heart, soul and mind puts you in the
right attitude to praise, worship and serve Him. If you walk in the Spirit, you will walk in love, you will walk
in faith and the Word.
In His love,
George Moss
