Dear Partner,

A Divine Treat

Early in the morning when the birds sing, tweet! tweet!;
And the fragrance in the air smells nice and sweet;
It is the greatest time for us to meet.

My head is clear.
You seem to be so near.
My heart is primed for good cheer.

All that I am and All that I have, I lay at your feet.
Now is the time that you pull my life and yours into one heartbeat.
The past and the future are merged into the present, to give a divine treat.

I went to bed last night planning to send a short note about the enclosed tape today. When I awakened I had this poem on my heart. It rolled around inside of me for a short time. I decided to get up and write it down.

Last month, a friend let me read three poems that I had written in 1985. She said they had been a continual inspiration to her. I'm still believing that she will send me a copy of each.

KNYD is a FM Christian radio station owned by David Ingles. March 27, I was interviewed by Cathy Mink. Len and Cathy Mink generally co-host the show together. He was out of town on the aforementioned date. The tape has had the commercials edited out. It is my desire that the tape is a blessing to you.
